We take pride in announcing that Bromley Beacon Academy received a "Good" rating with outstanding features from Ofsted during a section 5 (graded) inspection in January 2019.

In a follow-up section 8 (ungraded) inspection that took place in March 2024, Ofsted stated:

the evidence gathered suggests that the inspection grade might be outstanding if a graded (section 5) inspection were carried out now.

A summary of the latest (ungraded) inspection is below:

Inspection Outcome: The school remains rated as 'Good'. However, evidence suggests it may achieve an 'Outstanding' rating in a future graded inspection.

Pupil Wellbeing: Students are happy, feel safe, and enjoy learning.
High Expectations: Staff have high aspirations, tailoring support to individual needs.
Curriculum: Offers a broad curriculum, including unique programs like cookery, banking, construction, DJing, motorcycle lessons, and partnerships with a national football club.
Personal Development: Emphasis on personal growth, with activities such as the Duke of Edinburgh's programme.
Reading Focus: Strong emphasis on reading, fostering a love for literature from an early age.
Sixth Form: The curriculum aligns with students' interests and local employment opportunities, including courses such as barista training.
Careers Education: Comprehensive guidance from Year 7 onwards, leading to qualifications in various fields.
Parental Feedback: Parents commend the school for its compassionate approach and the positive transformation in their children's lives.
Safeguarding: Effective safeguarding measures are in place, with a strong culture prioritising student welfare.
